It's the Small Things

Hi!! I’ve always been interested in the maximalism topic so swerte rin at nakita ko website na toh. Was always curious as to why andaming gamit nating mga Pilipino, although may idea from my history classes in a way so the articles and stories shared here really helped me realize that I’ve experienced Filipino maximalism so I ought to share it na rin.
To keep it short, lumaki ako kasama puro matatanda or may may edad na sa bahay namin (not to mention we frequently have small reunions during celebrations) so I basically learned from them to maximise every item that we have to the max (pun[?] intended). Sa mga lumang damit na hindi na nila magagamit, we would alter it para kumasya at sumabay sa trend ng generation namin. O kaya ang ice cream tubs, maliban sa lalagyanan ng pagkain ay ginagawa rin naming temporary pots for plants in our garden since mahilig kami maghalaman.another experience I can add is like since childhood, I’ve always been a handy craft kid who likes to busy my hands, kaya pag nagaantay kami ng sundo, binibigyan kami ng tita namin ng hindi na ginagamit na papel, ung may mga printed na for formality, para gawin namin origami or kaya me and my siblings would draw on it. And if wala na rin use yun is gagawin namin paper mache.
Napa-nostalgia trip lang since malaking factor din cguro ung environment nga naman ng isang tao on how they interact with their surroundings talaga. Anyways thanks for letting me share!
